Paul’s teaching in Galatians reminds us that we do not exist entirely on our own but in
the constant presence of the one who taught us how to live as God wants us to live.
Such an awareness brings the gospel message to everything we do – our values, our
lifestyles, our relationships, our fundamental choices in life. It also requires us to reflect
frequently on gospel teaching to assure ourselves that we are taking seriously the living
presence of the Messiah in our lives.
